GoNintendo thought - Should we have a year-end list?

The weekend schedule is exactly what I need right now. While the night was pretty busy, now the regular work day is up and running. That gives me time to get my last-minute Christmas shopping done! I’ll catch you guys in a few hours, I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!

Ah, now this is the burning question. Absolutely everyone is doing year-end lists. I think we’ve seen them from nearly all the big players out there. Some have discussed the top games, others have picked the biggest disappointments. There are a number of themes in-between as well. Basically, the end of the year inspires everyone to put together some sort of list. I don’t know, I just never felt important enough to make one of those lists! Who am I to tell people my game choice for the year? What right do I have to mark a game as the worst title of 2007? That’s why I am a bit antsy about putting a list together. Since I’ve been going back and forth with the idea for some time now, I thought I would come to you guys.

Do you want to see a GoNintendo end of year list? It can be about any topic you guys like. We can do a standard list that compiles the best Wii and DS games of the year, we can break it down into categories, or we can do something completely different. I am totally open to any and all ideas. I know that you guys might be able to come up with something more interesting. It can be written, on video, or even through an audio recording. I’m sure we could piece together some sort of cheesy video, complete with myself (and whoever else will join me) wearing tuxedos…or at least tuxedo t-shirts…or maybe just a tie. Anyway, you get the point that I am trying to make! If you want an award list let us know! Leave a comment and tell us what you want to see, and how you want it done. I’ll sift through the ideas, and see what is the best fit for us.

Of course, if you are down on the idea, let us know that too! If you are tired of outlets putting together lists, maybe you want us to stay out of it! I do think that there are a flood of lists out there, which is why I am hoping for something different if we do make a list. As I said though, if you don’t think we need one, then by all means let us know.
