The Common Sense Gamer: Jaye Gives more Legacy stuff
2008-06-06 08:01:15 by Editor in VirginWorlds MMO News

I was going to give more information regarding the Living Legacy stuff that SOE is doing with EQ and EQ2, but Jaye beat me too it…so I’ll just link her post instead.

Here is the thing I am most excited about right now:

Evolution of Everquest Event - Massive In-Game Experience.

“An event of tremendous magnitude and a first ever for the MMO world.”

Hmmm…I’m wondering what that can be? Guess we’ll have to see, however; I’m thinking that there is going to be some massive shake up with the EQ world. Given the solid release of AoC and upcoming releases of WAR and WoW (expansion), SOE has got to do something that says “Psssst…over here”. Good on them.

Actually, I’m kind of happy to be back in EQ2 and spending some time with Jaye’s guild. They are a great bunch of people and funny as hell. A couple of nights ago, they brought me into a place called the Sanctum (…I think…). It’s a level 63+ dungeon with some really nasty stuff in there. At the time, I was level 48. At the end…at about 12 deaths later (…I kid you not. Broken armor ftw…), I was level 50. Woot! It was really fun. Yeah, I think EQ2 is just what the doctor ordered.

…and it might just be my eyes or something, but there is something “funny” looking about Luclin in EQ2. It’s moving around and stuff and all glowy in the middle. Was it like that before?? I thought it was a static graphic of the broken moon…but I may be wrong.

D out.
