Famitsu tidbits - Trauma Center 2 Japanese date, Vanillaware title in trouble

Trauma Center 2 DS was announced just yesterday, and the news came from Nintendo Power. Atlus is yet to put out an official press release, but I’m sure one isn’t far off. Famitsu claims that the DS sequel will hit Japan on August 7th, 2008. We heard that the NA date is Summer, so hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer after the Japanese launch.

Now for some sad news. Remember the gorgeous Oboro Muramasa Youtouden? Let me refresh your memory…

According to Famitsu, Vanillaware’s title is struggling in development. Whether that means construction or financial issues remains to be seen. I am really looking forward to this title…keep your fingers crossed for a positive outcome.
