
Summer vacation has ended, and the kids may be back in school, but parents might not want to put away those video games just yet. Research shows that the multi-tasking trial-and-error mentality could spawn the next generation of scientists or computer programmers. Today’s gamer may also become tomorrow’s top surgeon. An Iowa State study shows surgeons who play video games are 27 percent faster and make 37 percent fewer errors than non-gamers.
