One of the big gaming stories sweeping the internet last week was the tale of Nathaniel, who sent in his Xbox 360 covered in signatures from various people in the gaming world for repairs, only to have it returned to him wiped clean. When the story reached Bungie, they swore they would try to make it up to this poor gamer somehow. Well, it looks like they’ve made good on that oath as Nathaniel recently received a giant batch of swag from the developer, the centerpiece of which was a Legendary Edition helmet signed by almost all the studio staff. He also received a Halo 3 soundtrack signed by Martin O’Donnel with the words “Do Not Erase!” written underneath, not to mention just about every piece of Halo 3 paraphernalia on the market these days. Books, controllers, a faceplate, action figures, ActionClix, clothing: just about everything you could imagine. True this can’t exactly replace his original console, but it certainly can’t hurt.
