Do you still feel like Nintendo has abandoned the hardcore? It’s pretty hard to feel that way if you followed the news coming out of Nintendo’s media summit. I’d say that more than 80% of the show featured titles that were squarely aimed at the core gamer. It was enough to make a Nintendo fan’s head spin. Nintendo knows the mistake they made at E3, and this summit set out to make core fans realize that they are still as important as they ever were.
